Our Şile bezi pillows are created by a cooperative of women in a multi-step process that begins with spinning GOTS certified organic cotton fibers 1200 times to make thread. The handloomed cotton fabric is then boiled in floured water, washed in seawater and dried on the quartz sand beaches of the Black Sea. Finally, the stitching and crochet details of the pillowcases are likewise done by hand.
